Well, we'd done Paris in 4 days, Sienna in 2, Florence in 1, and Venice in about a day and a half. I don't recommend that schedule to anybody. You can imagine that after that we were ready to rest (and brush our teeth, among other things). We took a restful spell with Anneke's childhood friend Jolette, now living with her husband, Harry, and 3 children, Harry Jr. (right), Isabelle (bunny on head) and Julian (appears later in Utrecht pics). We hung out with them for about five days, in their massive studio-complex home in a little nothing-happening suburb outside of Munich, Germany, Germering.
I have lots of pictures of Isabelle, of course, because she's
so cute.
While we were there, Jolette took us to an authentic Austrian style café, which was markedly similar to the little Austrian style café we have up here in Idyllwild -- I mean had in Idyllwild...it closed down this January. Anyway, while we were visiting, we did take a day trip, to Austria itself, namely to the beautiful former home of W. A. Mozart, Salzburg...
