...here at Madurodam! Hollands own little Netherlands-in-a-Nutshell. That's right, that's me leaning up against the Swan I just told you about -- but wait! -- that's not so big…
And there I am again, standing in front of Utrecht's Dom Toren...but hey -- it doesn't look like a hundred meters tall! And note the little Utrecht -- style canal below, big enough for mice. It's so
cute!
Here's a place I spent some time in Amsterdam…It's called "the Dam", a sort of central meeting war memorial place. I smoked a couple of joints there. But what are those people doing walking behind the buildings in the background? It's just a model!
And here's the great cheese market square in Alkmaar, where I had my worst cup of coffee in all of Europe (typical, though, for America)...but this is the tiny version.
Finally, outside the gate of Holland's own little self-portrait, whom should we find but that boy -- that boy who went and stuck his finger in that dike and by golly, he saved the whole polder (a legend which actually started in America). There he is, immortalized, for all to see.
Don't you love Holland now??
Of course you do.
