OK, homage to Anneke's beloved friends. Here's Anneke's real extra special friend Nana,
who visited us a couple of days,
and here's Helga.
They were all very nice of course and Anneke had lots to talk about with them.
Have I mentioned the Van Bergen family yet? We were visiting them all over the place. Here's Corinne, who lives down by the canal in one of those renovated cellars that comes off of the wharf. Those ancient structures are amazing little caves, now converted into everything from nightclubs to artists' studios. Other examples of the Van Bergen family are Jolette, Frans, Wim, Rens and Goof (pronounces "khoaf" with a gutteral kh), pictured here in the back with his lovely girlfriend Joreen. The boy with Anneke is Jolette's Julian, other girl back there is Ingrid, Rens' girl and far right is Jolette (visiting from Germany).
I didn't meet these guys myself, but more of Anneke's friends, Michael and Guido.
