Anne Dominique has, a lovely daughter, Jamilia. Here she is in her classic chin-up pose with Anneke (she is, of course, Anneke's former husband's former wife's daughter; step-sister of Anneke's son Ilja, which, incidentally, sort of rhymes with Jamilia).
And here they are walking through the streets of Vence, another old city nearby, not quite as isolated as Tourette Sur Loup.
And then, below, we have the two with Anne Dominique in the center, in the big white hat.
This one was taken up on a neighboring mountain top. The ladies drove up while I hiked the arduous hot trail with Jamilia's (then) boyfriend.
Up on the mountain peak was a nice little eating spot, and a new-agey bookstore. While we were there, the grounds were stormed by a roaming heard of goats, who proceeded to eat all of foliage in sight. It was very cute, but we soon realized that the ground's nice gardening was actually in peril. We finally drove them off, chasing them, banging badminton racquets together.
